Day Sixty-Eight

I have been really useless about uploading my pics this week. Unfortunately, I have also been pretty useless at taking them. I woke up on Thursday and realised that I hadn't taken a photo for Wednesday. While I could let this ruin my project, I decided instead to let today's photo be one that I have been working on all week. I have been having serious problems with Photoshop and trying to get it to do my panoramas. Either it takes forever (and by forever, I mean at least 45 minutes) or else it won't let me save it. I heard rumours on the internet that this was because it was too big, and so I decided to try again this morning with files that have been resized to quite a large extent. And it worked. So here is my panoramic effort, taken on Tuesday and worked on everyday since then.

Day Sixty-Seven

Not wanting a repeat of yesterday's rush for a photo subject, I decided to bring my camera with me to school today. On the way home, I brought it out and started snapping away. I took a wonderful panoramic, but photoshop is refusing to co-operate with me at the moment, so I decided that this photo will have to do for the moment. Most playgrounds at schools in Korea are not wonderful grass wonderlands, but sandpits. This is a photo of me walking through the high school's 'playground' on my way back home. By the time I got home, by the way, my hands were just about frozen. Going to have to wear gloves from now on.

Day Sixty-Six

Yesterday was another fail of a day as I arrived back home from Taekwondo and realised that a photo of the day had yet to be taken. I scoured my room for something to photograph and my eye landed on my shoes waiting at the entrance. I quickly lined them up and snapped this shot. Back home, I was not much of a shoe person - I tend to get one pair and wear them until they are in such a state of disrepair that they cannot possibly be worn anymore. Here has been different and I find myself with a bit of an abundance of shoes, though some are still more worn out than others, as you can tell.

Day Sixty-Five

On Sunday I headed with Neil, Geri and Ross to Lotte World, which is basically the Korean Disneyworld. We had an awesome time there, but the queues were a tad ridiculous. In any case, this was the first ride that we went on - the Adventures of Sinbad.

Day Sixty-Four

Saturday saw me staying at home the whole day and even though I was invited out on Saturday night, I really wasn't in the mood. However, not leaving home all day left me with few choices for photo subjects, and I ended up taking this very boring photo of my potpourri. Sorry for the boring subject.

Day Sixty-Three

Friday night was the giant Halloween party at Buzz, and I went out for dinner with Geri, Neil and his co-worker before hand. We decided to go for dinner at Hungry Eyes which meant getting to Buzz pretty early when dinner was over. While we were waiting for other people to arrive, Geri and I started on a minor photo rampage and Friday night's picture is of Geri photographing my awesome drink of awesomeness.

Day Sixty-Two

On my way to Shinae this afternoon, the sun was setting so beautifully that I couldn't resist taking my camera out. Unfortunately, I was in a cab and by the time I got there, I was in a concrete jungle and couldn't manage to take a shot. Luckily, knowing that this would probably happen, I managed to snap this on the way. I quite like how it ended up with the background being a great deal more in focus than the foreground and the combination of colours.
