Day 169

Not the best eye picture that I have taken this week, but I saw Jodie's blue eyes when she was at my apartment on Friday night and decided that I wanted to try and get a nice picture of them. Unfortunately, my battery died after 4 attempts, none of which had worked particularly well because I just couldn't hold still enough.

Shutter speed: 1/50
Aperture: f/0.0
ISO: 3200
Lens: Canon EF 28-80mm 3.2-5.6 II with three extension rings.

Day 168

I got a lovely surprise on Thursday when my co-teacher came into my office bearing a lovely bunch of flowers for me. I got a wonderful photo shoot out of it as well as the joy of being able to smell flowers in my apartment.

Shutter speed: 1/30
Aperture: f/0.0
ISO: 1600
Lens: Canon EF 28-80mm 3.2-5.6 II with two extension rings.

Day 167

Again, this is not a picture that I am particularly proud of, but it was the best one that I took of the wine glasses at Bonbon - an Italian restaurant that just opened in Cheongju, that I wasn't very impressed with. So I suppose the mediocre photo is appropriate in a way.

Shutter speed: 1/30
Aperture: f/3.5
ISO: 3200
Lens: Canon EF 28-80mm 3.2-5.6 II

Day 166

I have never taken any bokeh pictures before, but I quite like the way that the lights in the background came out with this picture. It's not of a particularly special subject, but I like the way that it all worked out.

Shutter speed: 1/30
Aperture: f/0.0
ISO: 100
Lens: Canon EF 28-80mm 3.2-5.6 II with two one ring.

Day 165

On Monday, I got a little bored and decided to try some self-portraits using my lens extension tubes. This is one of the shots that I got out of it. This one is not my personal favourite, but Grant liked it the most and I some of the details are a little clearer, so I decided to put this one up.

Shutter speed: 1/30
Aperture: f/0.0
ISO: 3200
Lens: Canon EF 28-80mm 3.2-5.6 II with one extension ring.

Day 164

I was not particularly impressed with today's picture, but it was the only one that I took, so I don't really have any choice but to put it up. It is of the manicure that I got on Saturday.

Shutter speed: 1/30
Aperture: f/0.0
ISO: 1000
Lens: Canon EF 28-80mm 3.2-5.6 II with two extension rings.

Day 163

On Saturday I finally got a chance to do something that I have been wanting to try ever since I first heard about it - I finally got to go to a Dr. Fish!!! It was a wonderful, though very ticklish experience, and I managed to snap this shot of the little fishies attacking Shai and Geri's feet. For a full explanation of our day in Osan, click here.
